Please join the Illinois Chamber’s International Business Council for a unique discussion with Swedish Ambassador Björn Lyrvall on Sweden business and economic ties with the US and Illinois.

The program will examine US-Swedish bilateral trade and investment relations within the context of the Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP) and will include perspectives from industry professionals and government stakeholders on TTIP’s economic significance and the opportunities for Illinois businesses to fuel innovation and increase most-needed growth and jobs.

Sweden is the 12th larger investor in the US. Trade with Illinois supports over 15,000 jobs and Illinois exports to Sweden exceeds $213 million. As two of the most dynamic and innovative economies in the World, these numbers can increase significantly under TTIP furthering the already substantial impact of the US-Swedish trade relation in our local economy.
