IBC Media Advisory: Swedish Ambassador Björn Lyrvall Visits Chicago to Discuss TTIP

Please join the Illinois Chamber’s International Business Council for a unique discussion with Swedish Ambassador Björn Lyrvall on Sweden business and economic ties with the US and Illinois.

The program will examine US-Swedish bilateral trade and investment relations within the context of the Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP) and will include perspectives from industry professionals and government stakeholders on TTIP’s economic significance and the opportunities for Illinois businesses to fuel innovation and increase most-needed growth and jobs.

Sweden is the 12th larger investor in the US. Trade with Illinois supports over 15,000 jobs and Illinois exports to Sweden exceeds $213 million.
